Press Release Summary: Uniting readers for the first relationship book club featuring relationship authors and books
Press Release Body: Dallas, TX-July 01, 2008-Dearblackman.com today announced the launch of an online book club designed to empower black men and women to explore and discuss ways of improving communication and relationship issues that they face. The dearblackman.com book club, hosted on its' web site http://www.dearblackman.com, serves as an online forum devoted to African American readers looking for the best relationship authors and their books.
Not only will readers be able to discuss featured books with the DBM staff each month, the online book club will go one step further by allowing readers to discuss featured books directly with each other through the dearblackman.com chat rooms.
"The book club chat room will allow you to log on and discuss the book we are currently reading with other DBM members, and you'll also be able to go online and chat in the other relationship rooms about various issues that affect you," said Tina Clark, creator of Dearblackman.com.
The online book club, which picks a different book at the first of each month, chose National Bestseller Sherry Argov's book "Why Men Love Bitches" as its inaugural pick.
"Don't be fooled by the title, it's not what it looks like. The author distinguishes between the derogatory way the word is usually used and the "tongue-in-cheek-way" it is represented in her book", says Clark.
"Actually it's a woman's guide to holding her own in a relationship. It helps women know who they are, stand their ground, and relate to men on a whole new level. I think the Brotha's will appreciate the author spelling out to women what men won't say or tell them."
Readers are encouraged to join the book club, buy the book, and meet online in July to chat with fellow readers and in some book selections, the authors also.
Readers interested in joining the dearblackman.com book club can register at www.dearblackman.com. Membership to the book club is FREE.
